**Responsibilities**
**Job Summary / Purpose**
Perform standard Polysomnographic testing as directed according to established practice in accordance with standards as published by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Association of Polysomographic Technologists. Provide patient care/services based on identified needs/developmental level for all patient populations checked below; care/services may include assessment of individual patient needs; incorporation of age-specific characteristics in patient education, communication, and planning; provision of individualized care relevant to patient needs; and recognition, monitoring, and provision of interventions as appropriate. Assure the effective use of department resources to meet patient’s needs, promote interdepartmental cooperation and problem solving, facilitate the cooperative efforts of the staff group, provide an accessible management person to communicate with staff and to carry out supervisory functions and perform polysomnographic recordings.

11. Other duties as assigned by management.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
**Required Education and Experience**
High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited polysomnographer program.
**Required Licensure and Certifications**
RPSGT BLS-CPR
**Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training**
Should have working knowledge of computers. Adequate conversational English is required in order that the individual be able to take direction from management, understand how to complete job tasks, communicate adequately with patients and co-workers as necessary, understand and follow safety guidelines, and understand the Associate Handbook and all hospital policies.
**Pay Range**
$21.23 - $29.20 /hour
