Job Description
Provides polysomnographic testing to patients from newborn to 21 years of age consistent with accepted standards. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Performs the duties of the Respiratory Therapist in the sleep center.Experience

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with an active Georgia RCP license; orRegistered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS), or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST).Grandfathered clause: Continuous employment as a Polysomnographer or Respiratory Therapist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta since 8/2007 in lieu of certificationBasic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employmentKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be able to successfully pass the Basic Windows Skill Assessment at 80% or higher rating within 30 days of employmentIndependent judgment and ability to work without supervisionStrong organizational and communication skillsEnthusiasm and willingness to work with othersJob Responsibilities
