Responsibilities Performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests. Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study. Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations Collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the Medical Director. Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP Titration, Servo Titration Studies and oxygen therapy when applicable. Answers directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager. The CPSGT/RPSGT also scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical Director Qualifications Job Requirements Minimum of one year as a Polysomnographic Technologist required Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT/RPSGT) is required Licensed Sleep Technologist is required Current CPR (BCLS) Certification Preferred Job Requirements Scoring experience preferred Registered Polysomnographic Technologist preferred
