POOL & BEACH ATTENDANT SUMMARY:

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Pool & Beach Attendant.

This multifaceted role will see you creating and executing initiatives to deliver exceptional experiences by providing superior customer service at our pool and beach areas, running food and drink orders, and maintaining a pristine environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES: Create an exceptional experience at the pool by providing superior customer Maintain the pool area by keeping clean, organized and stocked at all Take food and drink orders from guests efficiently and accurately. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and courteous manner. Learn and maintain product knowledge of the food, wine, and beverage menu(s), as well as general restaurant knowledge. Perform sidework. Perform setup and breakdown of various stations (i.e. pool & beach station, beach flags,expo). Ensure all chairs are clean and in orderly fashion. Maintain entire pool area replacing any missing items and/or repairing (when possible) any items needing attention. Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless service and maintain high standards. Attend all company and restaurant required trainings and meetings. The position assists in programming the pool areas for the senses: sight, sound, smell, touch, taste. Communicate effectively and professionally with guests and other staff members. SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING: Excellent customer service skills and detail-oriented. High School Diploma is preferred. 1 year of experience in customer service or similar Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant point of sale system is required. Exceptional verbal and written communication Ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests. Must be creative, willing to experiment and value relationships and understand how they impact the success of the property.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma is preferred. 1 year of experience in customer service or similar role.

 

Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.

 

 

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to bend, crouch, kneel, crawl, squat, climb ladders and stairs, balance, reach, twist, stretch, push, pull, handle (hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hand or hands), finger (picking, pinching, fine manipulation), stand, walk, see, hear, write and speak. The employee is frequently required to use a keyboard and dial. The employee is minimally required to collate/file and sit. The employee is constantly required to lift and/or move between 10-50lbs, frequently required to lift and/or move up to 75lbs, and occasionally required to lift and/or move 100+lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

 

Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to produce detailed work, use verbal communication, have customer contact, and handle multiple concurrent tasks. The employee is occasionally required to use reasoning skills and handle constant interruptions. The employee is minimally required to use math and written communication.

 

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be moderately exposed to dampness and occasionally exposed to heat, odor, fumes, dirt, noise, vibrations, and use of tools/equipment.
