Job Description Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Pool Bartender | Full Time for the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club! Ranked among the best resorts in Texas: Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest Conde Nast Traveler and Top 5 Resorts in Texas Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2023 Responsibilities + Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Club. + Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working. + Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service. + Mix drinks for servers and members and guests according to standard recipes. + Maintain familiarity with the wine list, the stemware and appropriate garnishes used. + Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartender’s manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros. + Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow side work sheet. + Monitor inventory. + Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails. + Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to TABC laws. + Be familiar with all Club amenities and activities. + Maintain cleanliness of the entire bar area at all times. + Assist in the orientation and training of new associates. + Participate in associate meetings and trainings. + Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager. Qualifications + Must have and maintain current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications. + 2 years bartending experience required. Prior server experience preferred. + Extensive wine liquor and beer knowledge required. + Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone. + Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shift. + Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. + Must be able to withstand exposure to weather conditions. + Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi task. + Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. + + Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
