The Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for Pool & Beach Hosts who have a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

The Pool & Beach Host reports to the Pool & Beach Manager and is responsible for greeting the guest, seating, bidding farewell, answering telephone and taking reservations, and coordinating end of shift reservation data.

We are looking for an energetic, experienced customer service professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, have a passion for service and hospitality. Applicants will be a willing team player, comfortable with computer systems including Micros and Open Table, and willing to accept assignments on an as needed basis, in order to promote team work. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

About the role:  

The Host(ess) is the first interaction for guests in our Restaurants, and is the designer of memorable experiences. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. This role is part of the Pool and Beach, reporting into the Director of Pool and Beach

What you will do: 

Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their Pool and Beach experience in collaboration with a team of Server Attendants.Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the chair sections.  Ensure cleanliness of each section of the Pool and Beach areas and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set.Responsible greeting the guest, seating, bidding farewell, answering telephone and taking reservations, and coordinating end of shift reservation data.Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information.

What you bring: 

One to two years’ previous experience in Food & Beverage outlet; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset  Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems Strong communication skills
