Overview Position Summary The Pool Concierge is a full-time, year-round position responsible for creating an exceptional resort experience while maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence of all pool facilities. This role combines traditional pool maintenance duties with high-end hospitality services to ensure memorable guest experiences. Reports To Executive Housekeeper Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guest Experience - Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, offering orientation to pool facilities and amenities - Anticipate guest needs by providing personalized service, including: - Setting up loungers with fresh towels and pillows - Offering complimentary water service and seasonal refreshments - Providing swimming accessories (goggles, swim diapers, sunscreen) upon request - Assisting guests with special needs or accommodations - Monitor pool capacity while maintaining an upscale atmosphere - Address guest inquiries about resort activities and facilities - Maintain lost and found items with detailed documentation Safety & Guest Comfort - Monitor pool and spa areas to ensure guest safety and comfort - Maintain cleanliness of all guest areas - Report any maintenance needs to facilities team - Guide guests on proper use of facilities and amenities Required Skills & Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in hospitality preferred - Strong customer service skills with attention to detail - Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service - Knowledge of pool operations and safety procedures - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Physical ability to perform required duties - Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays As a Boyne Mountain team member, there are so many awesome perks for you to take advantage of, such as: ski passes, golf passes, waterpark passes, and discounts for food, beverages, retail, daycare, and so much more! Responsibilities The Pool Attendant’s typical job functions include: Ensuring pool area is ready for guests Maintaining linens and replenishing as needed Interacting with guests in a friendly and helpful manner; reporting and intervening when guests are involved in unsafe behavior Observing and correcting safety issues in pool area Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor Qualifications This position may be for you if: You are at least 18 years old You have achieved a high school diploma or GED You have excellent customer service and communication skills You are detail oriented, well organized and work well independently and in a team environment You are able to lift up to 50lbs, push and pull carts, repeatedly stock linens
