Pool Laborer - Temporary 2025 Term **City of Dubuque** 1 Positions ID: 62185 Posted On 02/07/2025 **Job Overview** **Position Summary** **GENERAL SUMMARY:** The pool laborer is primarily responsible for maintaining grounds along with pool and facility cleanliness to meet safety standards. Inspects pool daily and follows proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing. **Job Duties** **JOB DUTIES:** + Police grounds/ parking lot for litter and remove trash daily. + Vacuum diving well, lap lanes, plunge pool and wading pool as scheduled. + Sweep and hose down pool decks. + Clean and sanitize locker rooms + Empty filter baskets and inspect pool mechanics to ensure proper functioning. + Maintain diving boards by cleaning, lubricate fittings and hinges as scheduled. + Inspect and tighten ladder bolts as scheduled. + Groom sand areas. + Work directly with the aquatic supervisor, maintenance supervisor and pool managers.
