Earned Master’s degree in music or a closely related discipline. OR Bachelor’s degree in music or a closely related field AND five (5) or more years of applied, relevant experience. OR Bachelor’s degree in any field AND ten (10) or more years of applied, relevant experience. **For Teaching at the Graduate Level:** 1. Earned terminal degree (Ph.D., D.M.A., other) in music or a closely related discipline. OR Master’s in any discipline and seven years of professional experience in the field of music. 2. Record of research, scholarship, or achievement in music or closely related field.
