THE JOB:

The Pool Manager is focused on enhancing the guest experience by overseeing the daily operations of our pool facilities.This role involves managing all aspects of pool operations while adhering to departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Ensure team members are attentive to their duties and comply with company policies regarding guest safety and welfare

Maintain smooth, cost-effective operations, including labor management, service supervision, and inventory control

Manage opening/closing duties of the pool area and ensure proper appearance of the pool deck

Partner with Enterprise Analytics to determine cabana and chair rates to effectively yield and drive revenue

Provides input into strategic plans to grow revenue streams, effectively recognize areas of opportunity for cost containment to surpass budgeted objectives

Supports departmental strategies for guest service, team cooperation, financial responsibility, and asset management.

Facilitate and maintain consistent pool safety programs, training, and documentation to ensure the overall safety of guests  in the pool area and to be in compliance with health district regulations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Previous experience in a pool operations management role

Knowledge on pool health and safety regulations

Experience with reviewing budgets, overtime reports, FTE reports, and financial reports

Familiar with working in a resort environment
