Ensuring each guest feels WELCOME, CARED FOR AND VALUED! Your guests know they have escaped to paradise! This is "YOUR" opportunity to grow and learn at a world-class property! SERVICE EXPECTATIONS: Prepare the pre-shift for the service ahead • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the Pools • Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu • Be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests • Be the master of the menu, understanding the details to enhance the conversation • Work collaboratively with other servers and kitchen/bar staff. • Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy. • Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to read menus. Must be able to clearly communicate Guests' needs to W/Ws, Bussers, Managers, etc. Must be able to hear well in a loud environment. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe. Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to Guests. Must be able to understand requests for assistance. Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs.) A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team. Passion for providing extraordinary service. Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time. Opportunity for Growth: This position has the potential for growth for Outlet Team Members to have the opportunity to receive training to become an AHLA Hotel Supervisor Certification leading to managerial positions.
