What You'll Do

Talent and Skills is at the top of CEO agenda and one of the three pillars of the POP Practice. It contains several fast-growing POP subtopics: Talent Strategy and Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Tech & Digital Talent, BCG U and Skilling, Talent Management (EVP, Perf Management) and the continued buildout and refinement of the Talent Builder AI-based platform.

 

We seek a strong candidate to work closely with Suketu Shah, the Global Leader of the Talent and Skills topic as well as a broader leadership & expert team, as the Offer Director for the Topic. In this role, you will re-shape the portfolio of offers as Suketu steps into role, including the buildout of the sub-offer suite, leveraging existing POP capabilities and help continue building the Talent Builder platform with BCG X. You will also work through how to ensure that Talent & Skills topics are effectively included as part of key BCG programs – ACA, PMI, GenAI, …. Talent & Skills is a top priority for the POP Practice and is both a Strategic Tilt and Big Bet.

 

As a T&S Offer Director, you will be sought as thought partner who support leadership to set and execute the strategic agenda and coordinate Offer Management activities for the Talent and Skills topic. You will support the development of the offer, the build of the platform our business, in particular including:

 

Offer Strategy and Plan: Alongside topic leadership, jointly drives yearly planning exercise around our BCG Talent and Skills offer, articulating the needs / pain points from our clients, how they evolve and how our offer responds to these needs and how we differentiate from competitors. You will be supporting the development of a clear architecture for the topic, looking at the articulation of different offers in the topic and other POP offers, articulation around end-to-end programs, and connection with other BCG offers. You will oversee the T&S big bet campaign, approve funding requests against topic priorities, monitor and track investments.Product Governance. Support the leadership team in setting up and orchestrating the right governance, prepare and facilitate the regular meetings / calls associated to it.Prioritization, Backlog Management, and Offer Development: In collaboration with experts and knowledge team, help teams align on priorities based on the strategic plan and manage the backlog of activities to support the development and evolution of the offerings, in particular the Talent Builder platform, jointly built with BCG X, as well as communication and marketing activities (internally and externally) Contribute to the development and dissemination of the topic content, ensure consistency between different content initiatives.Management of Go-to-Market. In collaboration with regionals leads and BCG sector teams, manage and set strategy for the commercial plan, align on Industry Sector priorities and specific GTM plans (incl. customized content needed, specific campaigns, of priority clients)Product Marketing and Communication. Together with the leadership team and marketing teams, develop offer narrative, as well as communication plan and contribute to its executionSales and Execution Support: contribute to relevant plans to build necessary capabilities internally (or externally) to best support the offer execution; support training and enablement of our teamsStrategic analysis and reporting. With support of the PA and Finance teams, put in place relevant KPIs and processes to monitor progress against defined OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for the team and help track business progress.

 

As part of the Offer Management community, you will work closely with your topic teams, and with your Offer Management colleagues, and contribute to the testing / refining and exchange of best practices across the community. You will help manage and coach other Offer Managers and also contribute to broader initiatives and special projects launched by the Offer Manager community.



What You'll Bring

10-12+ years of relevant industry experienceMaster’s degree preferred, demonstrated high academic achievement, strong preferredPrevious experience in BCG is a plus, ideally in a Project Leader or BST manager roles or professional in the area of Talent and Skills, or in Transformation of large corporationsAbility to manage and drive area of accountabilities, contributing to higher level agenda settingAbility to lead complex sub-functional teams or projects fully independently and provide direction to othersAbility to resolve complex issues and non-defined problems autonomously, with full business acumenStrong interpersonal skills and credibilityDemonstrate superior expertise and leadership skillsAbility to respect sensitive client, BCG, and people related information as personal and confidentialStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced knowledge in Outlook, PowerPoint, and ExcelStrong English skills (written and spoken)
