The New Porgera Limited now has a vacancy for, Senior Specialist – ED Trainer, Leadership, Coaching & Mentoring (230014)
About the role
The Senior Specialist – ED Trainer is responsible for delivering training plans and maintain training matrix for Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring to all frontline leaders in the operation departments. The role is to coach and develop frontline leaders to be effective supervisors and leaders in line with the Leadership Development Program (LDP). The role is also expected to design and deliver professional learning that addresses High Potential leaders and Emerging leaders site wide.
The ideal candidate must have:
Must have relevant training qualification with a Cert IV in Training and assessment, Leadership Management and Adult Literacy Familiarity with adult learning theory and experience facilitating professional learning workshops for a group/team Must have very strong working experience in the mining operational department or Maintenance department Must have no less than 10 years in a senior supervisory role Must have Valid class 3 (PNG) driver’s licence
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery training plans and maintain training matrix Schedule classroom planning and teaching Development training materials and lesson plans Working with Superintendents and Foreman’s, support leading hands/supervisors to successfully achieve their KPI’s Train and deliver coaching, mentoring and support frontline leaders across the NPL operations Write training report and review evaluation feedback forms Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness and comply with the NPL Occupational Health & Safety Policy and all health & Safety Policy
Mobilization Requirement
This position is open to PNG Citizens Only Rotation is FIFO, 21 days on and 14 days off Must have an up-to-date Police Clearance certificate (Acquired within the last 6 months) A ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test Females are encouraged to apply
