To ensure plant remains compliant with all regulatory and internal cleaning and sanitation requirements.

Accountable for personal adherence to all applicable Safety, GMP, Food Safety, and Plant Policies.Complete a minimum of 2 Observation and 2 Near miss audits per month.Observe all Safety precautions, GMP’s and Plant rules to prevent injury to self or others and to prevent loss of material or damage to equipment.Follow and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Maintain good housekeeping and 5S.Cleans equipment and facility as indicated on the Master Sanitation Schedule and complete and required paperwork.Performs Regulatory cleaning duties.Ability to move full chemical drums utilizing two wheel drum mover and any other material handling equipment.Cleans work areas, tools, and equipment as needed and directed by Production Manager, Plant Director, or other members of management.Assist in machine relocation and equipment moves throughout the facility.Perform any other duties assigned. Qualifications Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.Capable of maintaining an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime.Excellent attendance requiredElectrically and/or mechanically able to resolve basic issues.Must be able to operate aerial lift performing tasks at elevated height.Must be able to operate lift truck and attachments.

 

Education

GED or High School Diploma required

 

Work Environment

Food Safety/GMP Manufacturing Environment

Regularly required to walk, lift and carry materials <35 pounds (not repetitive) through plant in order to function in the job.
