Responsibilities:

Perform and document daily inspections of the building’s interior and exterior spaces

Perform general janitorial duties 

Tasks include, but are not limited to: 

Mopping/buffing of hard service floors  Vacuuming   Dusting  Daily disinfection of common touch points Stock and maintain inventory of supplies and consumables   Restroom cleaning & stocking  Trash collection and disposal  Spot cleaning as required  Provide cleaning to clinical areas following all related policies and procedures  Assist with general building repairs (ie: change light bulbs, restock consumables)  

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent   2-4 Years minimum experience in janitorial services.  Potential candidate would preferably have background cleaning in a clinical/healthcare environment.  Clean driving record   Ability to read, write and understand English    Excellent customer service skills in dealing with staff  Ability to operate a variety of common cleaning machines, i.e., vacuums, floor scrubbers/buffers, etc., as well as use common hand tools  Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets   Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies  Reliability and Punctuality in all weather conditions  Preferable candidate will have basic technical abilities to send emails, fill out reports and use CMMS WO system.  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 

Physical Demands:

Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., frequent walking, climbing stairs, standing, reaching, bending and stooping 

 Environment:

Environment includes office space as well as clinical/healthcare.
