**Job Title: Porter** **Job Description** As a part of the facilities team, you will be responsible for the general upkeep and cleaning of the CCD locations. You will work under a cleaning schedule and address maintenance issues outside general cleaning responsibilities. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is proactive in performing their duties. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting doors, windows, lobby, stairwells, elevator cars, breakrooms, conference rooms, restrooms, and other interior areas. + Remove all trash/recycle from offices, patio, common areas, and clean the fridge. + Maintain high attention to detail when cleaning. + Monitor cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when additional orders are needed. + Assist the maintenance team with work orders as requested. + Notify the supervisor of any necessary repairs. + Perform handy work including general maintenance and building upkeep duties. + Attend to facilities with integrity and attention. + Blow out leaves and remove all debris from the garage once a week. + Clean the dog park at least once a week. + Complete all trash outs in units as needed. + Maintain a designated area in the shop, ensuring it is clean and organized. + Clean, sweep, and mop all building restrooms, ensuring they always have toiletries. + Clean, sweep, and mop elevators daily. + Clean, sweep, and mop the lobby area daily. + Clean, sweep, and mop the laundry area daily. + Clean, sweep, and mop all building floors daily (Floors 1-14). + Clean and maintain all trash chute rooms on each floor daily. + Check the stairs every two weeks to ensure there is no trash or spills and maintain cleanliness. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of experience in commercial cleaning + Comfortable with technology and apps + Time management skills + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual preferred + Comfortable working with a senior population (most of our tenants are seniors) + Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions make a significant impact. The work environment is fast-paced, and you will interact with a senior population. You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working with various cleaning technologies and applications. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
