\n \n Job Description
Custodians are responsible for keeping buildings clean by picking up trash, sweeping, and mopping, aswell as cleaning bathrooms and ensuring they are fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, andsoap. Custodians also complete a number of other functions, such as cleaning windows, vacuuming,dusting, and emptying trash.
\n\nWork hours:
\nMonday - Friday,2:30pm - 6:30pm
\nShared On-Call nights, weekends, and holidays.
\n\nDaily responsibilities:
\n\n\nWalk and inspect community, ensuring the property is clean and well maintained.\nMeet and greet homeowners, maintenance vendors, and contractors onsite.\nAnswer phones.Research and respond to inquires in-person or by phone.\nPerform light janitorial, cleaning, and paint work.\nPick up trash, blow leaves, change out light bulbs, etc.\nClean assigned areas including furniture, telephones, fixtures, walls, windows, window sills,blinds and vents.\nSweep, mop, and vacuum all area floors, rest rooms and break areas.\nClean rest room facilities and replenish supplies.\nPerform general cleaning, light floor care and special event set ups.\nCollect and remove trash and recyclables.\nRespond to emergencies.\nCall licensed contractors to come onsite when necessary.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required.\n2+ years of general cleaning, porter, or maintenance experience.\nExcellent communication and follow-up skills.Service driven and team oriented.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, shows initiative, reliable, and dependable.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n#LI-PK1
