Associa is hiring a Porter / Maintenance Custodian for a 55+ active adult community in the Williamsburg, VA area.

\n

\n

This is a fantastic entry-level position to begin your career with an industry leader in the HOA industry. Associa provides training and tuition reimbursement along with a full benefit package.

\n

\n

Work hours: 8am - 5pm, M-F.

\n

\n

Daily responsibilities:

\n

\n\nWalk and inspect property for cleanliness and maintenance concerns.\nInspect walk ways, tennis and basketball courts, police the parking lot, and blow leaves.\nMaintain and winterize exterior grounds.\nAssist with events and room set-ups to include furniture set-up and break down.\nComplete maintenance requests from assigned work orders.\nCommunicate and follow-up with the Maintenance Supervisor on all completed work.\nAssist with minor plumbing and electrical needs.\nAssist with building repair to include patching a wall, dry wall, paint and plaster.\nMaintain cleanliness of community to include power wash, hose off pool desk, utilize backpack blower to remove leaves and debris, clean up trash and debris around the community.\nReport to manager any pest control issues or facility maintenance concerns.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

\n Requirements\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\n1+ year of related experience.\nCustomer service oriented.\nReliable, dependable, trustworthy, and punctual.\nExcellent time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.\nExcellent communication skills, written and spoken.\nMotivated and career driven.\nValid driver's license is required for employment.\n\n
