WESTFIELD BEER GARDEN

Located at The World Trade Center the successful individual will be responsible for running and managing a Beer Garden pop-up concept for Westfield. The pop-up will be located on T2 Plaza which is the external site bounded by Church St, Fulton St and Vesey St. The Beer Garden offers breathtaking city views while relaxing and unwinding in a unique, outdoor setting. The Beer Garden was established in partnership with Westfield and Legends where guests can enjoy premium beverages, light bites and live entertainment.

 

THE ROLE   

The Porter/Dishwasher position is responsible for the delivery, maintaining, stocking, cleaning, and ensuring that there is a sufficient supply of products in the food and beverage areas. Services to include assistance in setup or breaking functions as needed.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Monitors stock levels, obtains supplies and equipment as requested per venue Clean tables and other necessary areas Receive deliveries and transport inventory to storage cage and the beer garden Ensure cleanliness of bathrooms and restock bathroom supplies when needed Delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers tables rapidly and accurately Removing trash from receptacles and making trash runs to dumpster  Store all equipment in proper locations Performs and assists with routine inventory on a daily basis of all required stock per area of responsibility Transport food and equipment in a timely manner Assist with emptying pallets and stocking storeroom and side stations Assisting team members in a timely, efficient and professional manner Fulfill assigned opening and closing duties Set up and maintain a clean, neat and safe work area Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to interact with colleagues to assure compliance with company service standards Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team orientated setting Must be able to read, speak and write effectively to communicate with colleagues and guests Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-50 pounds Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions Ability to work all extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including: constant reaching, bending, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training
