Portfolio Accountant - Real Estate (2 days onsite)

The Opportunity: The Portfolio Accountant will be an integral part of the accounting team, responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and operations for private real estate funds and separate accounts. This role offers the chance to collaborate across teams and with external partners while gaining exposure to international markets. Responsibilities Include: + Prepare and review US GAAP financial statements for private real estate funds and separate accounts. + Analyze financial operations, monitor compliance with accounting policies, and explain variances. + Collaborate with third-party property managers, reviewing quarterly reports and property management fee billings. + Assist with cash forecasting and ensure timely completion of external audits. + Review year-end property reconciliations and contribute to investor reporting. Requirements What We're Looking For: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. + 3–5+ years of experience; preference for candidates with public accounting backgrounds (Big 4/Top 7 or high-potential regional/smaller firms). + Experience with private equity, fund, or real estate clients is a plus. + Self-motivated with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. + High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
