J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management’s Portfolio Analysis Group (PAG) is responsible for performance measurement and portfolio analytics for external clients and serves as a value-added source of insight, independent analysis and thought leadership for internal clients including portfolio managers, front office advisors, sales & marketing and senior management.
As a Portfolio & Performance Analysis Vice President within our dynamic team, you will oversee a wide range of performance measurement and attribution calculations, and develop solutions for an intricate and constantly growing business line

Job responsibilities
Leading strategic infrastructure initiatives designed to implement best-in-class solutions for stakeholdersProviding the best client service experience by understanding our client’s needs and by developing relationships across the organization, specifically Portfolio Managers, Investment Specialists, Middle Office, Client Reporting and othersInterpreting results and producing attribution commentary for a range of portfolio strategies (long and short duration, emerging markets, high yield, etc.) including determining sources of alpha and identifying the factors responsible for these resultsProviding regular and bespoke risk and return analysis to portfolio managers and investment specialistsOverseeing a broad spectrum of performance measurement & attribution calculations and creating reporting solutions Monitoring data quality and performing compares between computations from different sources (e.g. internal vs external)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Minimum of 5 years experience in Performance and Attribution measurementStrong understanding of fixed income products, including structured products and derivativesKnowledge of asset management products and clients, as well as good understanding of portfolio accounting principles, and performance and attribution methodologiesEstablished quantitative skills with strong cognitive and problem solving capabilitiesEffective communicator, with the ability to lead discussions, present business results and influence a variety of business stakeholdersStrong relationship management skills to build sustainable and productive alliances across matrix organizationsProficiency with issue resolution and root cause analysis, including showing the ability to research and resolve issues in a timely manner Strong MS Excel skills
