We are looking for IFP Portfolio Management Lead who will be responsible for overseeing a team that delivers a robust Portfolio Management System, an effective Project Management Office (PMO), and drives innovation project management using Agile methodologies. This role is key in managing and prioritizing a dynamic portfolio of projects and innovation initiatives, ensuring they align with strategic objectives while being flexible enough to adapt to changing business and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities include: ​

Portfolio Management System Implementation

Lead the team responsible for influencing the designing, developing, and implementing an effective Portfolio Management System that provides visibility, prioritization, and resource management across all projects.

Ensure that the system is agile, user-friendly, and integrated with existing business tools to facilitate real-time tracking and decision-making.

Continuously refine/give feedback to global /the system to support business objectives, improve efficiency, and align with evolving needs.

Agile Project Management for Innovation

Oversee innovation projects by promoting the use of Agile methodologies to ensure flexibility, quick iteration, and continuous improvement.

Follow IMF process

Leadership of PMO

 Lead the PMO team to ensure that project management processes, governance, and reporting are established with an Agile mindset, enabling fast decision-making and execution.

Implement Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) within the PMO to support project management and ensure transparency and adaptability.

Develop and enforce a lightweight governance model that balances control with the flexibility needed to foster innovation and quick delivery.

Agile Portfolio Prioritization & Roadmapping

Lead the team in applying Agile prioritization frameworks such as **MoSCoW** or **WSJF** (Weighted Shortest Job First) to manage the portfolio of projects and innovation initiatives.

Develop and maintain a dynamic portfolio roadmap that is regularly reviewed and updated based on project progress, shifting priorities, and new opportunities.

Ensure that all portfolio initiatives are aligned with company objectives and deliver value, while balancing short-term wins and long-term strategic goals.

Cross-Functional Team Leadership

Manage and mentor a cross-functional team responsible for portfolio management, PMO operations, and innovation project management, promoting Agile practices and principles.

Foster a culture of collaboration across departments, ensuring alignment between product, finance, operations, and innovation teams to optimize resource allocation and project delivery.

Ensure the team is equipped with the tools and processes necessary to efficiently manage multiple initiatives while maintaining Agile flexibility

Continuous Improvement & Agile Adaptation

Establish regular retrospectives and Kaizen events to assess performance and improve portfolio management processes.

Implement continuous feedback loops with stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment and make iterative improvements to the portfolio management system, PMO practices, and innovation projects.

Promote a fail-fast and learning-oriented mindset within the team, encouraging experimentation and quick pivots when necessary.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

Act as the main point of contact for senior leadership, providing regular updates on the status of portfolio initiatives, risks, and resource allocation.

Organize and lead Agile portfolio review sessions to present progress, gather feedback, and realign priorities as needed.

Ensure that key stakeholders have visibility into portfolio performance through clear and concise reporting, utilizing Agile metrics such as **velocity**, **cycle time**, and **burndown charts**.

Resource Management & Risk Mitigation

Lead the team in optimizing resource allocation across the portfolio, ensuring that high-value projects are adequately resourced while maintaining flexibility for innovation.

Identify and mitigate risks across the portfolio using **Agile risk management** practices, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and proactively.

Continuously balance capacity and demand within the team, adapting to changes in business needs and project complexity.

You will also need the following qualifications:

Proven experience in portfolio management, managing portfolio management system, experience in the consumer goods industry.

Leading a PMO and managing innovation projects with a strong focus on Agile methodologies.

Expertise in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide cross-functional teams.

Excellent organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing complex portfolios and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with Agile tools(e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar) and portfolio management systems.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and align with senior leadership and stakeholders.

A proactive, flexible mindset, capable of adapting to dynamic business environments and driving continuous improvement.
