Portfolio Manager- Onsite
We are a forward-thinking life sciences company dedicated to innovation and excellence. We are seeking a Business Portfolio Analyst/Manager to play a key role in managing our product innovation portfolio. This role is crucial in shaping and executing our innovation strategy by collaborating with Market Intelligence, Product Development, and Finance teams. You will provide insightful portfolio reviews and executive presentations, informing leadership about the organic innovation pipeline, product performance, technology and product roadmaps, ROI, and risk/reward balance. Additionally, you will ensure innovation initiatives are effectively integrated into overall portfolio execution and monitor progress toward strategic goals.

What you will accomplish together with us:

Data Analysis & Reporting: Consolidate and analyze data sets to create impactful portfolio overviews, financial performance, innovation pipeline, risk management, and customer feedback dashboard views, that include new product portfolio status, project stages, budget allocation, and timelines. Build and maintain a KPI dashboard, including ROI, time to market, project success rate, and resource allocation efficiency.

Portfolio Reviews: Conduct regular reviews with senior leadership and business areas to understand and improve the competitiveness of our innovation pipeline and ROI.

Strategic Insights: Generate data-driven insights on market trends and performance, formulating recommendations to optimize the portfolio strategically.

Performance Tracking: Build and update scorecards to enable performance tracking and proactively bridge target gaps.

Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with Product Development and Product Managers to plan, build, and optimize multi-year and product roadmaps, understanding scenario tradeoffs and optimization.

Support the development, preparation, and maintenance of business area strategies and roadmaps.

Innovation Planning: Manage the innovation planning and funding process, extracting project data from systems for analysis and formulating insights.

Cross-functional collaboration: partners with various corporate functions to ensure that projects align with strategic goals and enhance product launch effectiveness.

Process Improvement: identify opportunities to maximize efficiency and minimize manual data processes.

What will convince us:

You will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Accounting, Business Management, Science, Engineering, or related discipline. MBA or master's in business Analytics preferred.

You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in portfolio management, financial analysis, business analysis, or a related field.

You will possess strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to consolidate and analyze complex data sets.

You are a strategic thinker with experience in financial modeling and forecasting in Excel.

Proficient in financial analysis and metrics.

Excellent communication skills, able to present and visualize data coherently.

Advanced MS Excel skills, and experience with Tableau, PowerBI, and ThinkCell are a plus.

Understand roadmap building, scenario tradeoffs, and portfolio optimization.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to work in a matrixed environment with strong presentation, negotiating, and influencing skills.
