Portfolio Manager (Remote)

Portfolio Managers collaborate with various DRE and Divisional stakeholders to orchestrate the success of the portfolio.  This position will be in the project portfolio management discipline focused on leading a subset of project and programs within Stryker’s Digital, Robotics and Enabling Technology (DRE) organization.  This role is responsible for creating and improving our strategic portfolio management process and governance. This position will manage the process to ensure the selection of the optimal portfolio that will enable us to outperform our competition and exceed our growth targets.   This will include ensuring the overall portfolio is aligned with our financial and strategic objectives and the portfolio is performing above expectations over time. 

This role is remote, with the expectation that work hours will align with Eastern Standard Time.

What you will do:

Lead portfolio planning to ensure timely, fiscally responsible decisions and long-term revenue expectations.

Develop a portfolio framework for maintaining executive visibility and aligning with finance on metrics.

Assess and report on portfolio progress, including monitoring KPIs that maximize business value.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate resources and skills necessary for successful portfolio implementation.

Establish regular portfolio reviews to evaluate health against targets and strategic goals.

Facilitate effective stakeholder relationships and communication strategies, addressing expectations and risks.

Evaluate programs and projects to optimize staffing and resource allocation for maximum business value.

Foster an inclusive team environment that encourages feedback, collaboration, and high morale among team members.

What you need:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree

8+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP or equivalent

Experience in a progression of marketing, strategy and/or business development roles

Experience in Product Lifecycle Management, process improvements, business strategy, portfolio optimization, strategic and financial planning desired

Financial acumen and business case development knowledge

Experience presenting and communicating to executive level personnel

$115,600 - $245,800 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
