Job overview and responsibilities

The Portfolio Project Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee multiple projects within a portfolio, ensuring their alignment with the department's strategic objectives. This entails close collaboration with stakeholders and senior leadership to prioritize projects, manage resources, and secure the successful delivery of project outcomes. The role demands strong leadership, organizational adeptness, and the ability to navigate intricate project environments.

Work with senior leadership to define portfolio strategy and ensure it aligns with the department's objectives Evaluate portfolio and provide recommendations on areas for improvement in project and financial management, core support, and release managementMonitor portfolio performance, manage risks, and optimize resource allocation Allocation of resources efficiently across the portfolio, identify resource bottlenecks, and propose solutions to maintain project timelines Track financial performance across the projects, ensuring cost controlReport on Financial metrics and adjust plans to achieve the financial targetsEstablish and maintain governance structures for portfolio management for the department
