Portfolio Program Manager - Enterprise Accounts

Ameresco has a new opportunity for an experienced Portfolio Program Manager. We are seeking a strategic leader to serve as the primary point of contact for Enterprise accounts during project execution.

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise accounts during project implementation, fostering strong relationships and understanding their unique needs and objectives; Work closely with Sales to ensure thorough understanding of customer goals and expectations; Ensure contract compliance and proper dissemination of relevant contract requirements to project team.

Project Management: Collaborate with Senior Project Managers and Project Development Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution; Ensure that project schedules, budgets, and resources meet or exceed client expectations.

Project Development Support: Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams contributing to project scope, Utility requirements, AHJ regulations, and incentive programs; Work closely with Engineering to ensure smooth transition from development to construction, through to project closeout.

Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate and contribute to efforts related to permitting, interconnection, and compliance with regulatory requirements; Ensure that all projects have adhered to applicable industry standards and regulations.

Commissioning and Project Closeouts: Oversee the commissioning process to ensure seamless project integration and functionality; Coordinate project closeout activities, including final inspections, documentation, and client handovers.

Operations and Maintenance Transition: Facilitate a smooth transition from project completion to the Operations and Maintenance team; Provide comprehensive project documentation to support ongoing maintenance efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in project management, with a focus on commercial renewable energy projects preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience overseeing project teams and managing client relationships.

Impeccable organization and project tracking skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Proficient in project reporting, with the ability to generate clear and concise progress reports.

Strong ability to run and lead meetings effectively, ensuring key objectives are met.

In-depth knowledge of permitting, interconnection, commissioning, and project closeout processes preferred.

Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and industry best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
