Key Responsibilities:

The Portfolio Project Managers primary responsibility is to oversee multiple projects within a portfolio, ensuring their alignment with department strategic objectives. This entails close collaboration with partners and senior leadership to prioritize projects, manage resources, and secure the successful delivery of project outcomes. The role demands strong leadership, organizational adeptness, and the ability to navigate intricate project environments.

Work with senior leaders to define portfolio strategy and ensure it aligns with the departments objectivesEvaluate portfolio and provide recommendations on areas for improvement in project and financial management, core support, and release managementMonitor portfolio performance, manage risks, and optimize resource allocationAllocation of resources efficiently across the portfolio, identify resource bottlenecks, and propose solutions to maintain project timelinesTrack financial performance across the projects, ensuring cost controlReport on Financial metrics and adjust plans to achieve the financial targetsEstablish and maintain governance structures for portfolio management for the department
