**Job Description**
The Marketing Analytics and Technology (MAT) team is an enabling function supporting the Business Unit Marketing and Enterprise Analytics & Customer Experience teams (EACX) and thereby the Chief Product Officers/Line of Business, responsible for measuring, assessing and articulating the efficacy of our marketing strategies to help drive growth and/or efficiency opportunities across the bank.
The Marketing Analytics & Technology team is hiring a Portfolio Manager. The MAT Portfolio Management team is a horizontal team with a focus on driving strategy, planning, enablement, and accountability across the broader MAT team. This person will develop key strategies and processes to help maximize business and internal client value for the team. The work will span across both Marketing Analytics and Marketing Technology Products. This person will partner closely with key stakeholders and leadership to ensure that cross team initiatives (and priorities set by the MAT SVP) are prioritized, translated into integrated plans across the portfolio and that the teams can successfully operationalize processes to deliver.
**The MAT Portfolio Management team is responsible for:**
+ Stepping into high-priority initiatives and projects as Project Manager to diagnose challenges and create a scalable workflow to support ongoing operations then develop plans to ensure sustained execution by internal teams after the Portfolio Manager’s involvement concludes.
+ Coaching MAT teams on Agile methodologies, including using Jira, to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency. Responsible for ensuring practices are understood and the team adheres to process, guidelines, and realizes the benefits to the practice.
+ Creating new (and reviewing existing) operational processes and procedures across the teams and recommending change initiatives and devising action plans for implementation to drive efficiency and reduce risk.
+ Leading cross-functional teams on cross-organizational projects and alignment opportunities
+ Understanding, establishing, monitoring, and maintaining cross-departmental communication about how work is prioritized and managed, as well as how key metrics are performing.
The right candidate will have a strong understanding and experience with Project Management and a track record of leading cross-functional teams. They will operate effectively within undefined or rapidly changing environments, bringing structure and clarity to complex projects. They will be capable of wearing different hats as needed including marketer, project manager, and scrum master. This individual should be a self-starter with a tolerance for ambiguity. They will need to be able to come in and quickly learn and understand MAT team goals and processes and identify areas of opportunity, establish any new norms needed then scale across the teams.
This individual will also possess a strong willingness to learn and teach and will aid in leading change across a diverse organization. In addition, project and team management, process creation, relationship-building will all be key deliverables in the first 90 days.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
+ Eight or more years of experience in marketing or related field
**Preferred Skills/Experience**
+ 6+ years of experience in project management and cross-functional leadership
+ Proficiency in Jira (or similar tools) and an understanding of Agile principles, with experience coaching teams.
+ Demonstrated ability to maintain high attention to detail and organization in a fast-paced environment, while effectively adapting to changing priorities and needs.
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results.
+ Exceptional problem solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management and project documentation.
+ Demonstrated influence without authority.
+ Adept at stakeholder engagement, consensus-building, and conflict resolution; tireless in placing these skills at the service of their teams.
+ Experience in financial services with knowledge of products, customers, transaction and interaction data.
+ Knowledge/training equivalent to at least one advanced certification from a reputable Lean/agile organization preferred. (SPS, SAFe SPC, SAFe SM, ICAgile Professional – Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), ICAgile Professional – Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC)).
**Location:**
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00 - $136,400.00
