Summary:  

 

As the Portfolio Product Technology Leader, you will spearhead technological innovation and digital transformation in Work Dynamics’ (WD) Portfolio Services (PS) business line and drive close collaboration with the global Leasing Advisory business on JLL’s go forward integrated digital leasing platform. Reporting to the CEO of WD Technology (WDT) and serving on the WD PS business line leadership team, you will blend strategic vision with technical expertise to develop technology products that enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and create value through technology-enabled solutions for PS. This role requires close collaboration with WD PS and WDT leadership, WD account, vertical and geographic leaders, Leasing Advisory and Leasing Technology leadership, JLL Technologies (JLLT) product and engineering teams, service and support teams, and sales and marketing teams across WD, Leasing Advisory, and JLLT. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Strategy Development: 

Formulate and implement a comprehensive Portfolio Products technology strategy aligned with PS and Leasing Advisory business objectives  

Identify opportunities for innovation and digital transformation for managers and operators of occupier portfolios including transactions management, lease administration and strategic scenario planning 

Conduct competitive analysis of Portfolio Product technologies 

Align product strategies, roadmaps, and investments between WDT and Leasing Technology 

Top priority on TCO reduction and continuous improvements – these should be critical to the role. 

 Portfolio Product Management & Development   

Lead the selection of Portfolio Product technologies (transactions management, lease administration and portfolio scenario planning and analytics platforms) in partnership with the business. 

Make build, buy or partner recommendations  

Gather requirements from clients and multiple cross-functional and cross-business stakeholders 

Define features, value propositions, and confirm costing for all technology products 

Drive development of JLL-built PS technology products 

Recommend product features, roadmaps, and investments 

Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver roadmaps on time and within budget 

Implementation and Support 

Oversee implementation and support of PS technology products with WDT tech services teams 

Adoption and Customer Satisfaction 

Work with WDT tech advisors and directors to boost adoption and satisfaction  

Go-to-Market Strategy 

Partner with WD sales and marketing to increase PS technology adoption in sales motions 

Data Management and Analytics 

Define data and insights requirements for PS 

Develop data governance frameworks and best practices 

Leverage data analytics to enhance decision-making and operational performance 

Team Leadership 

Build and lead a team of technology professionals within Portfolio Products Technology. 

Lead and develop staff, identifying strengths and weaknesses and developing capabilities to the next level to increase the capacity of the overall product function to drive product success.  

Be the trusted growth partner for PS and Lease Advisory leadership 

Foster innovation and continuous improvement 

Vendor Management 

Manage technology vendor relationships 

Negotiate contracts and ensure SLA compliance 

Cybersecurity and Compliance 

Ensure Portfolio Product technologies meet cybersecurity standards and data protection regulations 

Develop risk mitigation strategies for technology-related risks 

Change Management 

Lead technology adoption initiatives 

Provide training and support for successful technology uptake 

Financial Management 

Manage technology budgets and investments 

Conduct cost-benefit analyses and build business cases for new initiatives 

Role will be part of the wider PS finance management. This role will sit on the PS global board and WDT spend on PS should be scrutinized as much as the business P&L 

Stakeholder Management 

Align Portfolio Product technology initiatives with broader organizational goals 

Drive alignment with Leasing Advisory business on product and technology solutions 

Communicate strategy and outcomes to senior leadership 

Thought Leadership 

Establish yourself as the undisputed technology leader in Portfolio Product technologies, both internally and externally  

 

Qualifications: 

 

12+ years of experience in full cycle technical product management in relevant software markets taking a data driven, customer centric design approach preferred.   

Multiple years as product team leader, with at least 7+ years in transactions management, lease administration or related fields 

Experience creating product roadmap(s) from conception to launch, establishing product vision and development strategy, defining go-to-market strategy, leading design discussions, and driving other teams and peers to coordinate on common outcomes.    

Established PS domain expertise with strong understanding of portfolio management and operations 

Experience with transactions management and lease administration technologies 

Proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives 

Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills 

Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools 

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

266,800.00 – 426,900.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
