Scope of Responsibilities: Works under minimal supervision. May assist in orienting and training new employees and cross-training colleagues.

 

Job Summary: Assumes primary responsibility for accurate, timely input and administration of all retail pricing promotions in the point-of-sale system to ensure that consumers pay the correct prices for items at the register. Serves as super-user and subject matter expert in POS system operations and administration.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

Primarily responsible for:Inputting all promotional ad batches and assisting with seasonal and other special ad batches.Maintaining in-depth knowledge and acumen in the point-of-sale (POS) operating system, including new releases.Maintaining an up-to-date POS operational manual.Cross-training colleagues in proper POS input and administration as needed.Setting up and testing retail promotions within the POS (e.g., BOGOs, BOGO/50%, % off, $ off, must-buys, coupons, etc.).Proactively identifying and resolving any conflicting promotional batch issues.Assisting in triaging and resolving any Item Maintenances in a timely manner.Assisting the Advertising team in proofing promotional signage, circulars, and flyers.Assisting Marketing Manager with content strategy for Retail Media Network/co-op program.Closely collaborates with Wahl Media Coordinator and Kinney Marketing Coordinator on advertising promotions ancillary to weekly/monthly/seasonal ad batches including Instacart, print, email, social media, in-store radio/tv, digital advertising, etc.Attends meetings with POS vendor, IT, Merchandising, Merchandising Operations, and Marketing/Advertising as needed to provide practical feedback and input regarding POS operations, changes, and problem solving.Requires prompt arrival and regular attendance.Performs other duties as assigned.Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs. Education:

Minimum: Associate degreePreferred: Bachelor’s Degree

 

Experience:

Preferred: 4 or more years previous experience in related position

Compensation

 

$20.50 - $25.00 per hour

 

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
