Post-Doc Associate
Job Description:The Anita Zucker Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Studies at the University of Florida is seeking qualified and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Associates interested in joining a team of highly productive and committed researchers working in collaboration with local, state, national, and international partners to inform and advance evidence-based practices and policies in early childhood studies and to disseminate this information to practitioners, families, policymakers, program leaders, and professional learning personnel. Building off a successful post-doctoral training program funded by the Institute of Education Sciences, Advanced Research and Training in Early Childhood Studies Post-Doctoral Associates at the Anita Zucker Center have opportunities to (a) coordinate research studies funded by external sponsors with situated mentorship provided by Principal Investigators or Co-Principal Investigators; (b) advance knowledge about and apply team science skills in the context of translational and transdisciplinary research being implemented across diverse early childhood settings; and (c) establish a research, scholarship, and dissemination record with ongoing mentoring supports.
Expected Salary:Salary is negotiable, competitive, and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum Requirements:A doctoral degree in early childhood education, special education, psychology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Post-doctoral associates should have a commitment to advancing transdisciplinary practices and policies in early childhood studies and to ensuring equitable opportunities and outcomes for children and families and the practitioners who support them.
