The University of Maryland Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to join our growing research team. Responsibilities will include the following: * Perform advanced level research with an emphasis on flow cytometry, protein chemistry and mouse surgery//in vivo/responses. * Independent planning, design, execution and analysis of experiments. * Supervise and train technical personnel, fellows and graduate students involved in experimental research. * Develop protocols for experimental procedures in the lab. * Prepare manuscripts and grant proposals. * Maintain inventory and order supplies * Attend meetings * Other duties as assigned * PhD or MD required * Two years of post-degree experience with research background in flow cytometry, analysis of cellular proteins, immunological techniques, cell culture, and small animal surgery If accommodations are needed for a disability, please contact Staffing & Career Services at 410-706-2606, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm EST.
