In our lab, we utilize a variety of methods and approaches to analyze biological mechanisms. These include in vivo calcium and dendritic spine imaging using multiphoton microscopy, in vivo calcium imaging using 3D-printed miniature microscopes to record neural activity in freely moving rodents, spatial transcriptomics, generation of genetic mouse models, transsynaptic circuit mapping, optogenetic interrogation of neural circuits, and the use of electrophysiological methods.
