In our lab, we utilize a variety of methods and approaches to analyze biological mechanisms. These include in vivo calcium and dendritic spine imaging using multiphoton microscopy, in vivo calcium imaging using 3D-printed miniature microscopes to record neural activity in freely moving rodents, spatial transcriptomics, generation of genetic mouse models, transsynaptic circuit mapping, optogenetic interrogation of neural circuits, and the use of electrophysiological methods. The Post-doctoral Fellow reports to the Principal Investigator, Dr. Alberto Cruz-Martin. The Post-doctoral Fellow will not supervise other employees but may assist with mentoring and training of others in the lab. - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.
