Devereux SPARC (Southeastern Pennsylvania Autism Resource Center) provides diagnostic assessment and skills-based intervention designed to improve meaningful outcomes for children and adults. 

 

SPARC has a Postdoctoral Fellow opening for the 2024–2025 training year. The Postdoctoral Fellow position is a 12-month appointment with a start date of August 1, 2024.

 

Position Description:

Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments, with a focus in the areas of neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders Provide consultation to programs and individuals in public, private and alternative school settings.Deliver evidence-based interventions for the development of skills in the areas of executive functioning, daily living, self-management, self-advocacy, and social-communication in group and individual sessions.Participate in program development for effective and neuro-affirming therapeutic interventions.Provide supervision to undergraduate and graduate trainees.

 Qualifications:

Successful completion of pre-doctoral training in school or clinical psychologyStrong behavioral background with training in ABA, CBT, ACT and DBT interventionsExtensive knowledge of evidence-based practices for neurodevelopmental disorders Desire to create engaging, creative and compassionate therapeutic interventions Ability to work collaboratively with team members with different training backgrounds Excellent writing skills

Qualifications

Education: Completed Ph.D., Psy.D. or Ed.D. in School or Clinical Psychology.


Experience: Must have completed a pre-doctoral psychology internship of 2,000 hours (preferably APA-approved).

Cover letter describing your career goals and how this fellowship will help you to achieve your goals Two letters of recommendation (at least one letter must be from an intern supervisor) Curriculum vitae Graduate Transcripts Letter from the department chair at your university indicating that your degree will be complete prior to the start date of the postdoctoral training position (August 1, 2024).
