The Mian lab in the Human Biology Division at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center has an immediate opening for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. The core focus of the Mian Lab is on understanding the basic biology and treatment resistance mechanisms of prostate and bladder cancer. Our group employs cutting edge molecular techniques and will work closely with other solid tumor oncology research teams throughout the Human Biology Division and the Fred Hutch Cancer Center.
Responsibilities
For this position, the applicant will utilize murine genetics, whole transcriptome ribosome profiling, functional genomics, RNA labeling/sequencing techniques, various cellular and molecular assays, and a one-of-a-kind biorepository of primary and metastatic human prostate and bladder cancer samples to understand how the translation apparatus promotes cancer phenotypes.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $67,728 to $150,000 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance.
