Responsibilities

This position is for a limited term of up to three years, renewable each year.  

 

As a Post-Doctoral Researcher at our Data Analytics department, you will be part of a team that translates business needs into analytics, interprets analytics for business applications, and leverage advanced technologies to provide artificial intelligence solutions. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on top notch research in the field of loss prevention.

 

You’ll be part of a leading-edge and diverse team of sophisticated data and analytics professionals. You’ll work alongside multiple departments including operations, innovation, business technology transformation, underwriting and engineering. You will use your creativity and leverage a vast array of techniques and tools.

 

Your projects will be interesting, exciting, and challenging. You will use data science to advance the mission and goals of FM Global.

 

Qualifications Completed all Ph.D. requirements in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.Advanced knowledge of and experience in one of the fields below:Generalized Linear ModelsMachine Learning Model InterpretationCausal InferenceExperiment Design and Hypothesis TestingSimulationDeterministic and Probabilistic Operations ResearchMulti-Criteria Decision MakingTransfer LearningAdvanced programming skills with modern languages including but not limited to R and PythonHands-on experience in predictive or prescriptive analytics projects

Compensation, Grade, and Job Title will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and technical skillset.
