The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice and Administration – Health Outcomes, Policy & Economics, Rutgers University Fellowship Program offers a significant opportunity to individuals interested in real-world evidence data analytics and the broader field of health economics & outcomes research (HE&OR). Fellowship program provides robust learning experiences related to the science and application of health economics and outcomes research:

Health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) methods Protocol development IRB processes Research contracting Study management Data collection and data management Analysis of large and small datasets Scientific writing Global value assessment of pharmaceuticals

The Fellow will spend four days per week at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) working in the GSK’s U.S. Value Evidence and Outcomes Research Group near Philadelphia. One day per week will be spent at Rutgers University’s Health, Outcomes, Policy, and Economics Program (HOPE), in Piscataway, NJ. 

The Fellow will be immersed in GSK projects and will be encouraged to participate in teaching activities at Rutgers and will be provided with opportunities to engage in academic research and publishing.
