As a Post Press Operator here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for operating post press equipment to finish printed materials and ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. You will play a crucial role in the final production process, ensuring that our printed materials meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
\nYou will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our South Bend, IN location.
\nIn this role, you will impact the final product by operating post press equipment such as cutters, folders, and bindery machines. Your attention to detail and adherence to production specifications will be critical in delivering high-quality printed materials to our customers.
\nPosition Overview:
\nRuns shot peening process on production parts such as, but not limited to, wheels. Before each cycle, refers to job schedule to determine what should be nm, prepares fixture that holds part, lifts part into shot peen machine, and checks all paperwork and relevant blueprints to ensure correct information. Also, runs a test part through the shot-peen machine to verify correct machine settings. Uses gages to examine part and verify results from test run. Following each shot peen cycle, visually checks part for over-peening or \"ripple effect.\"
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nRuns shot peening process on production parts such as, but not limited to, wheels.\nAnodize production parts such as, but not limited to, wheels and piston housings\nWork must be completed within specific time frames depending on production schedules.\nUpdate related paperwork/work instructions upon completion of tasks.\nDemonstrate safe work habits.\nMaintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.\nDemonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems leading to continual process improvements and effectiveness of the team.\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL

\n\n2 years’ experience in Shot Peen process\nMath skills that demonstrate a basic understanding of arithmetic\nBasic reading and writing skills\nAbility to read, understand, and draw blueprints and measuring gages\n\nAdditional Qualifications:
