Our Mathematics and Computer Science division (MCS) at Argonne National Laboratory is seeking two candidates to join as Postbaccalaureate Appointees to join a project related to quantum computing. Our mission is to accelerate quantum computing and bridge the gap between current noisy quantum devices and advanced quantum algorithms. Our quantum computing group is seeking a Postbaccalaureate Appointee to contribute to research and development on the quantum computing software stack. Under guidance of researchers and the managers, you will collaborate with others to develop and enhance open-source software tools, primarily in Python, with a focus on optimizing large-scale quantum circuits.
