Job Description:

The Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida is seeking a highly motivated candidate for a Postdoctoral Researcher: Developing game-theoretic planning algorithms for multi-robot interactions in dynamic environments.

The project is sponsored by Army Research Laboratory. It is to develop fundamental reinforcement learning and game-theoretic planning algorithms for a multi-robot/human-robot team in a dynamic, uncertain environment. The research topic will investigate the asymmetric information between multiple players and develop fundamental solution concepts that can be used for adaptive planning, decision-making, and multi-agent collaboration, with applications to safety-critical cyber-physical systems.

Duties:
The Postdoc will closely work with the PI and her research group, and the industrial collaborators to ensure deliverables to this project. The post-doc is expected to:

Submitting high-quality conference and journal papers based on the research findings. Develop planning algorithms and software prototyping, Implementation in robotic systems, if applicable. Present the research findings at conferences. Participating in PI meetings for this sponsored research project.

This position is available on a full-time and fixed-term basis for 12 months. The position maybe renewed depending on the performance and funding availability.

Expected Salary:

$50,000 - $60,000; contingent upon experience.

Minimum Requirements:

A Ph.D. (completed or nearing completion) in Control Theory, Robotics, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or a closely related subject.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Ph.D. (completed or nearing completion) in Control Theory, Robotics, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or a closely related subject.
