**Job Summary**
A postdoctoral position is available on an NIH/NIA-funded project on gene-environment interplay of modifiable risk and resilience factors across the lifespan and Alzheimer's disease and related dementia outcomes. This project includes data on multiple longitudinal twin studies of aging, including measured environments and GWAS data. This position is ideal for highly motivated individuals with an interest in working with a multidisciplinary and international group of collaborators.
The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Chandra A. Reynolds, with opportunities to interact with other team members at CU Boulder including Dr, Daniel Gustavson. In addition to working with the researchers on the awarded R01 (e.g., Penn State, U. Southern California, Karolinska Institutet), postdoctoral scholars will have opportunities to interact and work with more than 30 researchers in 6 different countries that constitute the IGEMS research network. Travel to IGEMS research sites and collaboration with researchers and post-docs working on related IGEMS projects will be coordinated as applicable. Opportunities to develop research projects will include evaluating early life factors, behavioral health and socioemotional factors, cognitive aging and AD/ADRD outcomes in country and birth cohort contexts.

**Who We Are**
**The Institute for Behavioral Genetics (IBG)** is an organized research unit of the University of Colorado Boulder Graduate School dedicated to conducting and facilitating research on the genetic and environmental bases of individual differences in behavior. There is a particular interest in the genetics of psychiatric, behavioral and neurological disorders. IBG researchers make use of well characterized longitudinal data arising from both family-based and population based samples. Statistical and epidemiological approaches being used at IBG include twin/family studies, genome-wide association (GWAS), GREML and LD-score regression, and the analysis of sequence data. Within IBG, Dr Chandra Reynolds' lab leverages longitudinal, biometric, and genetic approaches to evaluate gene-environment action and coaction as they relate to behavior, health, cognitive functioning and dementia outcomes.
**What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**
+ Collaborating with Dr. Chandra A. Reynolds on scientific projects associating experiences across the lifespan with adult cognitive functioning and AD/ADRD outcomes via behavioral and health pathways.
+ Taking the lead on scientific projects and seeing them through to publication as the first author.
