Recruitment/Posting Title Postdoctoral Associate - Cardiovascular Toxicology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department Pharm-Pharmacology&Toxicology Salary Commensurate With Experience Posting Summary There is a postdoc position available in Dr. Phoebe Stapleton’s lab in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI)/Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Rutgers University. This position is funded by a grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health (NIEHS). Dr. Stapleton’s research focuses on the utero-placental effects of particulate matter exposure during pregnancy. The candidate will focus on 1-2 of the following projects: (1) assess uterine nitric oxide-driven vasodilation, (2) evaluate uterine vascular arachidonic acid metabolism, and (3) appraise the therapeutic benefit of nutritional supplementation to improve utero-placental blood flow after maternal exposure to particulate matter. Therefore, candidate experience in vascular physiology assessment techniques is required.
