Postdoctoral Associate
Job Description:A postdoctoral position is available in the Hattori lab at The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology. The lab investigates the neural mechanisms underlying reinforcement learning and cognitive processes such as decision making and number sense using custom-built virtual reality behavior tasks for mice. Our major approaches include in vivo two-photon imaging of neural activity and synaptic plasticity dynamics, with a large FOV two-photon mesoscrope, imaging of neuromodulator releases with fiber photometry, optogenetics, computational modeling of complex animal behaviors and neural dynamics, and network simulations using AI. Successful candidates are expected to lead independent research under the guidance of Dr. Hattori and work collaboratively in the Hattori lab. Please visit our website for more information: https://hattori.scripps.ufl.edu/.
Expected Salary:Commensurate with experience.
