Postdoctoral Associate (Traaseth Lab)
Applications are solicited for an individual to be appointed as a postdoctoral associate under the supervision of Traaseth. The research will focus on molecular mechanisms of bacterial antibiotic resistance and cell signaling through receptor cell signaling. The terms of employment, which would be a year, with a possibility of renewal, include a competitive salary and other benefits. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and candidates will be considered until the position is filled. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, this position's annual base salary range is $62,500 – $70,713. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding, postdoctoral experience, and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, or Applied Mathematics and no more than five years of postdoctoral training.
