Function/Duties of PositionThe Division of General Internal Medicine at OHSU houses multiple cross-departmental, collaborative research programs within the Department of Medicine. We are currently seeking applicants to fill a 1 or 2 year post-doctoral position. The candidate would work with Dr. Zhu and collaborators at the Center for Health Systems Effectiveness across a number of exciting, policy-relevant projects focused on provider consolidation and workforce issues, behavioral health, and access to care.
The postdoctoral fellow is expected to complete 2-3 research projects during a 2-year fellowship period or 1-2 projects during a 1-year appointment. This is a unique opportunity for outstanding, driven, and creative postdoctoral fellows to perform cutting edge and high-risk translational research. This position is intended to help the candidate launch a successful academic career through mentored research, professional development opportunities, and didactic coursework where appropriate. Postdoctoral fellows will collaborate with Dr. Zhu and a number of other faculty and staff on research projects, to help design and implement original studies, conduct data analyses, and lead scientific publications.
