Join the forefront of groundbreaking research at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope, where we're changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our dedicated and compassionate faculty and staff are driven by a common mission: Contribute to innovative approaches in predicting, preventing, and curing diseases, shaping the future of medicine through cutting-edge research.

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Sangeeta Dhawan, at the Arthur Riggs Diabetes and Metabolism Research Institute.  We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow interested in studying the epigenetic regulation of pancreatic beta-cell mass in health and diabetes.

Our lab’s primary focus is understanding beta cell failure from a developmental perspective. We are interested in the dynamics of beta-cell heterogeneity, islet organization and cell-cell interaction in fetal and neonatal development. The Dhawan lab utilizes genetic mouse models, molecular biology, imaging and epigenetic techniques to study the cellular identity, function, remodeling, and survival of beta-cells in physiological and pathological conditions.

To apply, please submitted your CV and a list of three references to our portal or to Dr. Dhawan directly at sdhawan@coh.org.
