Postdoctoral Fellow I, Surgery-Research **Galveston, Texas, United States** Training & Education UTMB Health Requisition # 2401812 **Minimum Qualifications:** + Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field and one (1) year of completed Postdoctoral Fellow research experience. **Job Description:** The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report and present research in his/her field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. This is a training position, and is not expected to be a permanent position. The UTMB Department of Surgery research fellowship program will focus on providing state-of-the-art interdisciplinary research training experiences for postdoctoral fellows interested in the RNA-based components that underlie the molecular mechanisms that influence cell fate. The postdoctoral fellow will perform various standardized laboratory assignments and experiments in a supportive and collaborative research environment. Deep scientific interests and understanding the objectives of our studies are critical in discovering novel scientific findings.
