**Job Description** Title: Postdoctoral Fellow (position #:32076-47308) Salary: $73,588 Department: 866 – Department of Immunology and Immunotherapy Location: Icahn Building – 1425 Madison Ave., 12 th Floor, New York, NY 10029 Department website: https://icahn.mssm.edu/about/departments-offices/immunology-immunotherapy Laboratory website: https://naiklab.com/team/dr-shruti-naik/ The Naik Laboratory is seeking highly motivated postdocs to lead projects aimed at studies neuroimmune interactions in the skin. The Naik lab is studying how sensory neurons respond to acute inflammation and how this changes their function long-term. We will use single-cell approaches to profile the molecular and cellular landscape of post-inflamed sensory neurons and study these interactions in the context of inflammatory diseases, such as psoriasis. Goals/Outcomes of the Research Project: Aim to define the long-term consequences of inflammation of sensory neurons. We will publish this in 1-2 high impact journals. We will also seek funding from multiple grants to fund this project. **Qualifications** Qualifications: + Ph.D. required. + Research experience in in vivo models studying tissue biology. + Experience working in a research laboratory setting. The salary range for the role is $72500 - $80000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need.
