The CEE Department consists of 36 tenured and tenure-track faculty, 16 research scientists/scholars, 27 research associates, and 11 administrative professionals. Position Summary This Postdoctoral Fellow position will be in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and will be funded from the National Institute of Standards and Technology and from the Alfred E. Alquist Seismic Safety Commission. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing models related to natural hazards loading on structures and other significant infrastructure systems, including mainshock-aftershock analysis – and also included is the implementation of Juypter notebooks with Python script into IN- CORE . The individual in this position will report to the Principal Investigator of the project to disclose comprehensive analysis on all data collected to publish research findings in recognized scientific and engineering journals. This Postdoctoral Fellowship is a 12-month position with a possible extension contingent upon performance and funding.
