Position description The Division of Dermatology, Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is currently recruiting for a full-time postdoctoral position in Dr. Philip Scumpia’s laboratory. This postdoctoral position is focused on understanding how the immune system contributes to skin disease toward our understanding of cutaneous wound healing, cutaneous infection, inflammatory skin disease, vaccine biology, and skin cancer. The laboratory is affiliated with the Department of Medicine/Division of Dermatology, the I3T, Bioengineering, and the UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (Tumor Cell Biology Program) at the University of California, Los Angeles. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in transgenic/knockout animal models, handling RNA, DNA and protein.
